In my last post, i mentioned that the newer version of the service desk will have a minimalistic design and also have additional features. As we are getting ready to make the new demo of the product available..

Few months back, i was reading a blog post that talked about  the new trend  among vendors of the ITIL tools claiming to be  On Demand and SaaS based.

One of the interesting point that the author makes is that, some of the tools do not even have a minimalistic modern user interface and therefore gives the author a feeling that those tools remind him of upgraded older system. While this may not be neccessarily true, but a minimalistic UI seems to be a norm these days...

Sevice asset and configuration management feature has now been added to the service desk product. Be sure to test this feature on the demo site. You will also find an easy to use graphical relationship editor for all service assets and configuration items...

tingbasoft  will be releasing the IT Asset Management module by the last week of october. This is an important core feature of the product that will be available on the demo site during the next refresh. This will be followed shortly by the release of our Configuration Management System....

This morning, around 7 AM, I received a call from the  IT support team that the web server hard disk had failed and they were working to restore the service.

By the time, i received the call, they had been working on it for a while. I also learned that there was an issue with the redundancy ..
